For longer staying guests there are Self-contained properties close to the hotel off London Road. The apartments are either two or three bedroomed. They can be let for single use or for up to four persons with the larger units having two single rooms and one double or twin room.

All apartments have newly fitted kitchens, bathroom, double glazing, dining area and lounge.

Rates include servicing; satellite TV, Wi Fi and can include a laundry service and even a supermarket goods shop. All utilities; (electric, gas, water, tv, wifi & rates) are included. Off road parking is available for all units. Larger vehicles are able to use The Edward Hotel car park off Hyde Lane

All properties are let as ‘serviced’. Servicing is on a weekly basis, generally on a Monday morning. For periods of six month or longer basis it is possible to let without the service element for a keener rate.

It is possible to arrange lets on a 4 or 5 day a week basis for corporate customers. Terms would be a minimum period for four weeks with payment in advance.

Payment terms are fixed at the time of reservation depending on the length of stay. Private reservations require payment in advance, weekly or monthly corporate reservations may be invoiced.

The apartments are a short walk to the city centre, approximately 10 minutes to the very centre known as The Cross. Local amenities are even closer. Within 10 minutes is a Tesco Express, newsagents, three fast food outlets and Nepalese, Greek, Thai and Portuguese restaurants.

Both train and bus stations are close by.
