We have an informal bar at the Edward Hotel which is ideal for a quiet drink before and/or after an evening in the city. We do not stay open late nor do we have any functions or loud music. We promote ourselves as a quiet hotel and are up front about not being suitable for individuals or groups who want to party into the night. There are plenty of other hotels more suitable in the city for those that which to take advantage of the city bars and nightclubs and those hotels are closer to the city to roll into.

We have a range of bottles lagers beers and spirits, including beers from the local Gloucester brewery. We generally close the bar sometime between 11.00pm and midnight but will remain open later by arrangement.

We have a lounge which is particularly popular in the winter months when the log fire is crackling and in the summer the courtyard garden is popular too.
