Evening Dining

We do not serve evening meals

Our location; we are close to the city centre which has a good range of restaurants and other eating venues that you find in most cities. Therefore, the vast majority of our guests take good advantage of these places. There is a pub, serving home-cooked food, two Indian, a Greek, Portuguese and Thai restaurants all within ten minutes’ walk from the hotel and plenty more further on. More details are on our restaurant guide page and a detailed map will be offered on arrival.

Corporate diners may eat at a nearby restaurant/pub and have expenses billed via the hotel. This arrangement must be organised with the hotel management in advance.

Guests can order food to be delivered and eat in the dining room or have plated up, again by arrangement this can be added to your bill.

Most rooms have the added benefit of a microwave and fridge making self-catering your stay easy. Crockery, cutlery and accompaniments are provided in the hotel.

Kitchenette

We still have our kitchenette available with fridge, microwave, toaster, induction hob, crockery and cutlery for guest use. The kitchenette is free for use by all guests – the few rooms that do not have facilities inside and guests who prefer not to have cooking smells in their room. There is a Tesco’s express a five minute walk towards the city centre open until 11pm. This is especially useful if staying for an extended period
