Gloucester City Centre (The Cross)
Turn left from the hotel. Keep walking, after approx 500m London Rd becomes Northgate Street & the shops begin. The Cross is another 400m straight on.
Gloucester Docks
From the Cross walk along Southgate Street. After 300m or so the road forks. Left takes you to the main entrance, right takes you to a path beside the Royal Gloster’s museum, short cut when open.
Cineworld Cinema
Pass the main entrance of the Docks in Southgate Street. The cinema is at the bottom of Southgate Street off to the right on a site with Burger King and ToysRus.
Gloucester Royal Hospital
Walking – Walk out the back of the hotel car park. Turn right into Royal Lane then left into Hyde Lane and this will take you straight into the hospital grounds. (a map is on your left as you enter the grounds).
Gloucester Rugby Club, Kingsholm
Turn left from the hotel along London Road and turn right at Alvin St. At the end turn right and the ground is on your left.
Gloucester Records Office
Turn left from the hotel and turn right onto Alvin St. The office is on Alvin Street.
Gloucester Irish Club
Turn right from the hotel up London Road and take the first right after the traffic lights into Horton Road. The Irish Club is 350m further on the left.
Gloucester Leisure Centre, GL1
Turn left from the hotel along London Road and turn left at the lights. GL1, the leisure centre, is approx 500m on your right.
Gloucester Cathedral
Turn left along London Rd, it is on your right halfway up Northgate St.
Gloucester Guildhall and Arts Centre
At the Cross turn along Eastgate St, the Guildhall is 200m on the left.
Gloucester Indoor Climbing
From the Cross go down Southgate S,t take the 1st left, it’s on left.
City Hall
From the Cross turn into Westgste St after approx 500m, it is on your left.
Tourist Information Centre
From the Cross go down Southgate St, it is on your right. |
