Reservation Policy

We respectfully remind guests that a reservation constitutes a contract
|
|
| When a reservation is made: |
| You take responsibility for the whole booking unless other individuals or organisation have forwarded their details to guarantee the booking. |
|
For all bookings:
|
We require your credit/debit card details to guarantee your booking.
We will give you a refence number and send confirmation and directions by post or email if required.
Credit/debit cards are checked for validity. |

| For some bookings: |
We also require a deposit, and confirmation in writing.
We will confirm the booking in writing advising of any exceptions to our cancellation policy. |

| Cancellation policy: |
In general we require 24hrs notice (from 9am of morning of arrival) per room per day booked eg: 2 rooms booked for 2 nights, then 4 days notice is required. Upon cancellation we will issue a cancellation reference number.
Any exceptions to our policy will be specified in confirmation.
If a room is cancelled within the notice period or you fail to arrive, there will be a minimum charge equal to the first night.
We reserve the right to charge up to 100 % of the the booking less sums from accommodation re-let.

| Damage: |
| In the unlikely event of any damage being done to the hotel or property, unresolved, we reserve the right to charge the person/organisation responsible for the booking. |

The gallows can still be seen today, much more history from this period is on view at the Crime and Punishment museum in the Forest of Dean.
