Dining In


We do not have a high demand for dinner for two reasons.

Firstly, we have chosen to operate as a two star hotel where the emphasis is on accomodation and not food. Secondly, our location enabled this choice; we are close to the city centre which has the cosmopolitan range of restaurants and other eating venues that you find in most cities.

If you are considering eating in it is only fair to point out that we can not offer a lively restaurant atmosphere, therefore you should be prepared to be the only table eating

We offer a three-course Table d’Hote menu with coffee; last orders are 7.00 pm dinner being served between 6.00 & 7.30.pm. The rate is approx' £12.50 per head. If you are travelling alone we do not mind serving you in your room. Alternatively you can order a take out to eat in the dining room or have plated up and served in your room.

Corporate diners may eat at a nearby restaurant/pub and have expenses billed via the hotel. This arrangement must be organised via the hotel management in advance
